I am the owner of Collaborative and a business woman with 20 years experience in industry and a professional accountancy qualification. I have progressed quickly from management accountant to become the finance director of a £70m turnover company. My abilities range from strategy formulation to planning and forecasting to process improvement & systems installation. I am an extremely dedicated individual and take pride in producing excellent work and in my ability to provide practical support to all levels of management.
Major achievements
- Became Finance Director of a £70m business at the age of 33 responsible for Finance, IT, MIS and Commercial functions.
- Turned a business round from making a £3m loss to a £7m profit.
- Improved working capital by £2.5m in 12 months.
- Implemented amalgamation of 2 sites (combined turnover £100m)
- Interim General Manager in 2005 responsible for driving cost saving initiatives through the business
- Reduced accounting timetable from 3 weeks to 4 days.
